This exceptional photo is of Atlantic Av, taken in 1910. It is facing north toward Merrick Road. A few of the buildings shown above are still on Atlantic Ave in the 21st century.

This is Lynbrook's oldest continuously operated business, having served the residents of Lynbrook

since 1910.

Henri's Restaurant, on Scranton Ave, Lynbrook NY in the early 1900's Henri Charpentier

was a world class chef and inventor of the Crepe Suzette.

The old Village Hall and Police Station at 266 Merrick Road. In 1970 the Village offices moved to 1 Columbus Drive. The building served as a NYS Motor Vehicle Office & a Small Claims Court before being demolished in the early 1980's.
